Making the Move

Volume 12 Issue 1, January 2015

What's New in January?

After a seven day journey home, we are all getting settled back into our old life—the one that is not in the mountains, but is on the beaches of Florida. I already miss the mountains, and Blu is missing eating snow like ice cream. For some reason, he thought that was the whole reason for being a dog! It took us a lot longer to get home than it took to get to Montana. We stopped at Dodge City along the way as well as down to the Delta and the battle ship in Alabama. We stopped and looked out over the Mississippi where the battle was fought, and we went through Denver and Cheyenne. I do so miss the mountains already!

However, the bougainvillea are blooming, my hibiscus have buds on them and my lilies are starting to poke up through the ground. My lemon tree is full and the honeybells are on the shelves at the grove stores. Maybe it is good to be back to the land of sunshine. Except it has been grey and overcast since I have been home, so I might as well be back in the land of ice and snow!

I do suppose it is good to be home. There are dozens of white pelicans bobbing along on the river and the anoles are running up and down the honeysuckle branches. A gecko jumped out of the pantry and a large tree frog landed on my foot. Yes, I am home.

More Beads: I started replenishing my bead stock. I managed to get 22 new sets created. I did round, coin and tube bead styles. I went a little rose crazy!

Golden Globes: We participated in the Golden Globes this year.

Everything is in my Artfire studio, my Etsy shop and my
